Hello!
I'm Donna Petree and I have been teaching Exceptional Children for 18 years. I retired from teaching in 2014 but came to Walnut Elementary School in 2017 as an interim teacher. I have enjoyed the WCES community of students, parents and teachers who work together to make Walnut Cove Elementary a great learning environment.
I honestly believe that all people are unique in their talents and gifts that they bring to our world. For that reason, I am committed to helping each student reach their full potential and realize how wonderful they and their ideas really are.
I have lived in North Carolina since moving from California in 1980.
My husband and I have three grown sons, four grandsons, and one granddaughter.
We enjoy the outdoors and working on our small farm.
We have two Aussie dogs, one cat and one chicken!
Best Wishes,
Mrs. Donna Petree
